Walk MK for MK Snap

On the 9th October 2016 we will be walking MK to raise funds and awareness for MK Snap and we need you to join us. We have designed something for everyone so whether you are not active or super fit – you can get involved.
MK Snap is a local charity offering professional support, training, education, life skills, work and opportunities for individuals aged 16+ with learning difficulties.
There are 4 circular walking routes to choose from, all starting and ending in Newport Pagnell. Each walk is designed to capture the essence and diversity of Milton Keynes:
- MK Lakes: 20 mile route visiting 6 of the balancing lakes. Starting between 8am – 8:30am (registration fee £20)
- MK Transport: history 15 mile route visiting the old railway line, canal, the Aston Martin site and the old Iron Bridge. Starting between 9am – 9:30am (registration fee £20)
- MK Art: 10 mile route visiting the Willen Lake, the artwork around Campbell Park and the canal. Starting between 10am and 10:30am. (registration fee £10)
- MK Amble: 5 mile route visiting the railway line, Great Linford and Tongwell. Starting at 11am. (registration fee £10)
The walks are access friendly using a mixture of redways, pavements and canal tow path and perfect for taking some time to discover the area. Registration closes on 2nd October 2016.
