Running a great way to get fit and to get into shape. Anyone can run, anywhere, anytime, and as an extra bonus, it’s a cheap way to get fit, no gym membership; all you need is a pair of running shoes.
You may be put off running because it hurts, or may feel they are no good at it because you can't run very far without getting out of breath.
Getting Ready to Run is an 8 week programme aimed at helping you build the strength and stamina needed o run without it hurting
Weekly sessions include;
- Core stability and strengthening exercises
- Improving fitness
- Learning to run outside, including running safely, what to wear, staying hydrated
In addition to the weekly sessions, you will be given an individual programme to help you meet your specific running goals, whether that is to run without stopping for 30 minutes or complete a race.
